Aluminum silicate loose cotton is an excellent thermal insulation material, featuring light weight, high strength, oxidation resistance, low thermal conductivity, good flexibility, corrosion resistance, small heat capacity and sound insulation.

Production process:

Aluminum silicate loose cotton is formed by melting high-purity clay clinker, alumina powder, silica powder, chromite sand and other raw materials at high temperatures in an industrial electric furnace to create a fluid. Then, compressed air is used for blowing or the fibers are spun into a fibrous form by a spinning machine. After passing through a cotton collector, the cotton is collected to form loose aluminum silicate cotton. Loose cotton can be further processed into products such as fiber blankets, boards, paper, cloth and ropes.
